Sanai Wade is a 16-year-old sophomore with an extraordinary academic trajectory. She maintains an impressive 3.9 GPA while actively participating in her school community as Class Treasurer and a dedicated member of the Black Student Union. This summer, she will take a major step toward her dream of attending Harvard University by enrolling in Harvard Summer School, where she will study Molecular and Evolutionary Biology in a rigorous, college-level program for high-achieving students.
From an early age, Sanai has consistently demonstrated a remarkable intellectual aptitude. She was identified as gifted and talented from both Chicago Public Schools and the LA Unified School District, by excelling in the Otis-Lennon School Ability Test (OLSAT-8). Her academic journey has been one of dedication, perseverance, and passion.
Sanai’s dream is to attend Harvard University as an undergraduate, and this summer program represents a crucial first step in making that dream a reality. She sees this opportunity as more than just an academic challenge - it’s a chance to immerse herself in an environment of innovation, discovery, and intellectual rigor.
Beyond her academic pursuits, Sanai is a multifaceted creative who expresses her personality through drawing, writing, and fashion. Whether she’s sketching, crafting compelling stories, or experimenting with new styles, Sanai embraces creativity as a way to explore the world.
